Dr. Alexander Larsen started his Orem dental practice in 1981, but at that time it was a Provo dental practice. His first office location was at 3707 North Canyon Road for five years followed by two years at 247 West 2230 North in Provo. In 1988 he purchased land and the backhoe started. Right from the start the Orem dental practice gained fame and notoriety when the concrete truck fell into the hole while the footings were being poured. Thankfully, no one was injured as this dramatic scene unfolded. The truck was partially disassembled and hoisted from the hole after the concrete was removed from the mixer. Rumor has it that the driver of the truck lost his job for pulling in too close to the edge of the hole. Sorry about that, Mr. Driver.
The Premier Orem Dental Practice
After this somewhat dramatic start, Dr. Larsen’s Orem dental practice took off, and things have been going onward and upward ever since. Orem is a great location for any dental practice with views of the surrounding mountain terrain and a fantastic family atmosphere. Of course, since 1988 many of Dr. Larsen’s patients have grown up and have started families of their own. It is gratifying to have many patients who started in the early days of the dental practice in Orem as young children or teenagers return with their own children. We recently saw a young 3 year old man in our office whose grandmother was an 18 year old patient when Dr. Larsen started practicing those many years ago. What a huge compliment to what our Orem dental practice is all about—treating our patients as we would want to be treated. (Yes, a huge compliment, but it does actually make a person feel old if they think about it too much.)
